Bohemia Media aims to amplify the stories told by folk from marginalised groups which are not well-served within mainstream culture and might otherwise struggle to find finance. We bring in investors on a project-by-project basis, which will be cause-focussed rather than for profits.
Distribution Projects
Bohemia Media is a distribution company focusing on films which give voices to historically marginalised groups that are not well-served within the mainstream culture. Bohemia Media’s first film, the 2019 Sundance winner, CLEMENCY, utilised a ground-breaking revenue sharing model with cinemas and grassroots organisations and its lead actress, Alfre Woodard, was nominated at this year’s BAFTAs in the Leading Actress category.
